Anyone hit target yet? Then what?

Hi, I’m nowhere near target yet (W2 D3) but was wondering what happens when you are no longer over 30 BMI? Do you have to stop?? This is panicking me a bit already.

I have read that you could stay on this forever, but no details how. And will I keep being prescribed this if I ever reach target weight, as this will no longer be ‘overweight’?

I know I’m panicking too soon, but I’m having such good results already that I’m worried about having to stop and it all being for nothing 😭

Different providers say different things but generally. As long as your BMI was over 30 when you started most will continue to provide the meds at least until BMI 25. Some state lower than this. Some have a maintenance plan. Personally I don’t think I will have to worry about this as 15% off my starting weight is still above 25 for me and I am a slow loser likely to plateau by then.

I think Oushk’s maintenance plan gets a lot of discussion on here.

I started with a BMI of 32. I’m almost under BMI 25 and I’m with Medexpress. However my goal is closer to BMI 21, as that was my previous weight so I know that is sustainable for me. I’m hoping I can achieve that with further help of MJ as my body composition isn’t great…I’m short and currently at 30% body fat so don’t really feel a healthy weight yet, there’s still a way to go!

I have the rest of my current pen left and a few stocked up in the fridge. I’m currently using 10mg. At the moment my plan is to keep increasing my dose to 15mg to lose the rest of the weight, then titrate back down through the doses to wean off. I’m losing around 2kg a month, so an extra 2 months of that weight loss will get me to my goal.

I did contact Medexpress about maintenance and they completely do support it, they don’t automatically cut people off and their maintenance doses are 5mg/10mg/15mg. I’m just not sure I want to start maintaining my current weight just yet, nor am I sure whether I want to take MJ for the foreseeable future.

You'll likely see some Oushk marketers and brand promoters try to draw people like you to their business soon.

Oushk do paid maintenance plans, paid consultation and have "excellent" customer service. Other companies do free maintenance plans, free consultation and have great (clearly not as fantastic as our Oushk) customer service. It depends on what you want. You can use any of them to continue once you reach target.

OushkSmoushk · 20/11/2024 09:28

Oh and Oushk also have their tiktok promoters with discount codes and adoring fans on their Facebook support group incase you want to join.

@OushkSmoushk you really do hate Oushk don't you? 😂 What did they do to you!

Did Oushk hurt you somehow, @OushkSmoushk? Or are you the owner of a rival business?

Anyway, here's the accurate maintenance information: https://www.oushkpharmacy.com/maintenance

@whateveryousay any provider will continue to prescribe to you when your BMI gets to 30 and then below, as otherwise you would not be able to reach a healthy weight. As previous posters have said, many providers are offering maintenance plans of various types, so there will be plenty of options. I have a long way to go before my BMI is in the low 30s, but when I get there I will make a decision about which provider to move to in order to access the kind of maintenance plan I want.

You are so obsessed with them 😅 definitely sound like they either rejected you and you belong to a competitor company and keep such a close eye on them.

Maybe shift your focus to your own business and you will also end up getting recommended

@OushkSmoushk

Can I have the name of the company doing free maintenance plans please, as I've just had to pay £153 for a 10mg pen from Oushk, although it did have free postage.
Thanks very much 👍

Just listened to a podcast by Dr's Karl and Spencer, who were at a seminar about a 3 year long term study on Tirzepatide.
The results are very encouraging for keeping weight off after finishing using the jabs . Very interesting .
It's actually on You Tube too .

It really doesn't stop at 15% in every case, I'm 25% down and still going.
