Bad breath on Mounjaro

Has anyone noticed changes in their breath since being on Mounjaro? I’m 4 months in and taking 10mg. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss and use mouthwash, but by around 6-7pm I feel I need to brush my teeth asap to get rid of bad breath. It’s weird because I’m not eating a lot, nor am I eating smelly things, but the breath is really bad like clockwork.

I should add as well that I use a tongue scraper - literally just got out of bed to brush my teeth again!

Yep, I've got that too.
When I wake up in the morning my mouth tastes foul. But it's the only negative side effect I've experienced in the 5 months I've been taking it so I'm grateful for that.

Yes. I think it's because I'm not eating much /carbs and am in ketosis?

I recommend the therabreath mints and mouthwash. They really work for me. My breath bloody stinks otherwise.

Yes, my dH commented or I wouldn't have noticed 😳I finding chewing xylitol gum really helps - I try to do it subtly rather than like a cow chewing it's cud, or when I'm by myself.

Thanks everyone. I forgot I posted this!

Yes I’m not sure if it’s linked to changes in diet or eating less or part of weight loss; whatever it is, it’s horrible! I have never dealt with bad breath before, but I’m really self conscious now!

as an update, I think this is caused by not eating enough food as opposed to MJ. When I ate regularly during last week, my breath was normal. If I went through longer periods of not eating (it’s easy with appetite suppression!) then the odd breath kicks in.
