Lymphoma treatment and MJ

Hi, has anyone had treatment for lymphoma been approved for Mounjaro?

I had it at the beginning of the year but the treatment sorted it for a few years (it will most likely come back). The steroids I had to take made me put on so much weight, I just need to stop feeling hungry and I think this would really work for me but I'm worried I won't get approval. I'm not in the UK by the way. Seeing a doctor next week but thought I'd ask.

I have lymphoma and a mounjaro pen in the fridge ready to get started. My consultant said last summer that he would have no issues if I wanted to start a slimming jab. I have ordered the pen, but I am scared because of the side efforts

I have a friend in a similar position and her gp was perfectly happy that she has started mounjaro.

Just to update on this, I haven't had any particularly bad side effects and I've lost 23lbs since November.

I did have a blood test last week that indicated that a couple of my liver levels are a bit high so I'll be having another blood test in three weeks to check them. Not related to the lymphoma though which I was treated for a year ago and have no evidence of disease now 😊

Also, my HbA1c number went down 2 from 40 to 38 so that's good.

I had chemo for lymphoma 4 years ago, and have been on MJ for 10 months. Lost almost 90lbs, all good so far.
