Night nurse and Mounjaro

I started on Mounjaro on Monday, and have a shitty cold, headache and haven't slept properly. Would it be ok to take some night nurse?
Probably a stupid question but am unsure of any iterations and a google/med express aren't much use.

Anyone?

Night Nurse is an OTC paracetamol based thing isn't it?

I don't think I'd personally worry about taking something like that whilst also taking Mounjaro.

just check both leaflets for contraindications?

Night Nurse contains promethazine (which is an antihistamine and relaxant). You might want to read up on its possible side effects.

I'd start off with a small dose just to make sure you don't get any unpleasant side-effects.

Ive had night nurse before and been fine I'm just the most paranoid person for mixing medicines 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've taken them together a couple of times.

I think the only problem is it won't work as well, as it may not absorb as quickly as it should.. I may be wrong.. but that what I reckon. If it was me I would take it..

And I checked with the pharmacist at Medino (where I get my pens) and he said it was fine.

I’ve been on MJ for a few months and have definitely taken night nurse at least once, didn’t even occur to me to worry about it!

I took some last night, slept well and woke up this morning so all good 🤣
