Who collects their Mounjaro ?

In an ideal
world I'd get Mounjaro prescribed by a Dr /Pharmacist physically present ( no one does right ? ) and most def want to only pick
up an injectable medication from a physical pharmacy.
Call me totally paranoid but I
literally don't want to inject anything not handed over in person by a pharmacist.
Not keen on online shopping in general so medication has me 😱.
Those of you who collect it, who did you use , any issues ?
Superdrug/Boots are close by or drive to Asda.
So much info on online/delivery my brain is fried but less on this .

I collect from ASDA. Very easy - for the initial prescription I had to send in photos showing me on scales + side pic, both with a piece of paper with the date on it. They approved in about 72 hours, and I could collect the pen the next day. For every subsequent order, I send in my height and weight, it's approved within 48 hours and I can collect a day later. Every time I pick up my order, the pharmacist shows me the box to double check I've got the right prescription, and they can answer questions too.

Also with ASDA. First order I had to fill in a consultation form and then they asked for pictures. They asked me to write on a piece of paper that date and I needed to stood on the scales with the paper visible. I also had to send a full side picture. This was on Sunday and then I picked it up from pharmacy on Tuesday.

When I picked it up the pharmacist went through everything for me. I was also send a ton of information and guidance.

For my second pen I filled out a smaller form with my new weight on the Tuesday. It was approved and dispatched within 1hr30 and it was ready to collection the next day.

I like being able to collect so this works for me.

Least fave part are the before photos.
I recall doing photos whilst on Lighter Life, lost 3 stone and kept it off for a long time.
Just can not get into that headspace anymore, almost feel I caved in despite knowing it's possible to lose weight with sheer willpower and focus.

I collect from my local independent pharmacist. Everyone raves about MedExpress but he price matches, gets it in next day and its great to support a local business.

Should have asked local pharmacy but guess worried I bump into
someone I know, whilst trying to be under the radar. The wildly different pricing e.g Boots £219 is quite astonishing

I go to collect it at weekends as at work rest of time

Honestly I take the price hit because of the convenience / reliability of being able to collect it, chilled, and exactly like you say - getting it from an actual pharmacy because it's very powerful medication!

I get from cloud pharmacy now but I used Boots to start with.

Well pharmacy also do it and I believe they give you the jab and weigh you too.
