Wegovy to Mounjaro

Anyone moved from Wegovy to Mounjaro? If so how did you find the switch? I'm thinking of moving as weight has plateaued and I'm still getting pretty horrible side effects on Weygovy many months.

Lloyds pharmacy have recommended to take two weeks after taking the last Weygovy injection but looking online some places recommend taking five weeks - any thoughts?

I went from 0.5 Wegovy to 5 Mounjaro with no break and had no side effects (Wegovy was terrible for me)

@Sandwichgen ah I'm on 1.7mg of Wegovy! How are you finding Mounjaro? I've been having terrible constipation / diarrhoea on Wegovy recently, and awful nausea! Hoping Mounjaro might be a bit more gentle (although they've said I'll have to start in 0.25!)

I have no side effects on MJ except for tiredness a day after the injection. But I lose very slowly on it (maybe unsurprising given my age, and diabetes/insulin resistance

Wegovy slowed my digestion down too much but I lost quickly - which may have been down to lack of sleep (I suffered from insomnia on it).

On Mounjaro, I get some heartburn if I drink alcohol and I’m losing more slowly. Rather slow loss than digestion!

I’m glad I switched.

@KnightonShiningArmour thanks, I'm hearing lots of positive stories about Mounjaro! I'll happily take a slower weight loss than have the side effects. How much have you lost so far and over how long, if you don't mind me asking?

I lost 3st on Oz over 9 months then 10lbs on Mounjaro since June. I know some people see it as a waste but I see this as a period of maintenance/slow loss so each half pound is a win for me.
