Apologies from the start that I’m being needy. I know I am but also know to ask for the help!

I am hugely overweight. 8 stone overweight.

From reading all the threads I think MJ is best for me but now I don’t know what to do. I know there are referrals etc but I wondered if anyone can help me work out where is best for me to order from and what I should consider when choosing where to.

My husband works from home so someone is always in (except one day a week) if that makes a difference.

Is there anything that would prevent me from being prescribed it?

I have access to private GP via telephone but not sure if that is useful or not for this.

Thanks in advance!

Well done. I gave been on it since March 2023 and initially had ten stone to lose. I am close to losing 4 stone now, as you can see it has been very slow for me, but it keeps going down, that's the main thing.

That’s a brilliant loss! I wonder what makes it slower for some than others. Everything else I have tried I’ve failed at so this made sense to try for me.

Have been accepted and told to collect at Asda today after three o’clock. It is a 30 min drive away so I’m very glad I hadn’t left yet. At 14:55 they sent me a message to say there is a stock issue and hoping to get it tomorrow…

Well done!

id suggest also getting some electrolytes, fibre/constipation tablets and Imodium just in case

Just done first injection. Thank you all-I genuinely wouldn’t have got on with it without the support.

Well done - don’t freak out if you feel nauseous etc

I’m not feeling anything yet-just a little faint red patch around injection site. I’m sitting waiting for something which isn’t healthy-I’ll get on with housework!!
