I brought a 10mg but I’ve decided to go back to 5mg how can I extend the life of the syringe. Has anyone else used a syringe longer than the 30 days

I'm the same got a 7.5mg but planning to stay on 5mg. I'm going to use up the rest of the pen, but will then probably go back to 5mg pens for the future. I will see how it goes and keep it in the fridge, but will just be a couple more weeks for me.

All the guidance says not to use it after 30 days but I know several people who have with no issues - one in particular is quite lax and leaves the needle attached and re-uses that as she has run out but doesn't want to buy more til her next pen.

I would possibly risk going over on the 30 days but would never reuse a needle.

I suspect it's more widespread than is openly talked about, because there are posters who will be very critical of the practice, citing it as a safety concern - it goes directly against manufacturers advice.

Many people are already taking it with non-standard doses, using the bonus dose, split dosing etc. When there's already movement against the strict prescribing protocols, maybe it makes it easier to do something else not as advised.

@SevernWonders eek at the needle reuse! I might be lax and take a dose at 33 days. I could never re-use a needle!

That is gross. She is leaving herself open to infections

Yes I agree but there is no telling her (she is my bosses boss) - tbh I think it is just lucky she is not ordering compounds in a vial from a beautician or similar.
