MJ - hold or hand luggage.

Flying long haul next week, 2 flights, and will be away for 2 weeks. It will be very hot at my destination but I should have a fridge in my room.
Will need to take my pen and bring it back again - I’m thinking hold luggage.

Any thoughts or experience please?

Hand luggage. Always. The temperature in the hold can drop below freezing!

I bought an insulated insulin case with ice packs to take mine away with me.

I’m going to be flying long haul to a hot destination next month. I have bought a Frio cooler wallet (cools for 45 hrs by running the gel insert under a cold tap). I will be carrying my prescription, pen, needles and wipes in my hand luggage. No way would I put it in my hold luggage! I’ll bring the used needles home to safely dispose off after my holiday.
