Did 4 weeks of 2.5mg with great suppression.
Got a 5mg pen but was wary of side effects so did 5th injection 2.5mg as normal (instead of 5) then 4 days later did the other 2.5mg.

Last injection was Thursday.

Yesterday I only managed to eat a small bowl of veg chilli.

Today I was out and ate a egg mayo sandwich without the crusts and now I'm sat battling my gag reflex. I just feel like it's going to come up

I don't think there is much you can do other than wait it out now and stick to the dosing schedule for future doses. Perhaps speak to your provider, let them know what you have done and see if they can recommend anything for the side effects you have.

It is fairly usually to get the odd day when suppression seems to dip for a day and then come back, what made you inject again after only 4 days?

You are likely at the peak strength of the dose 2-3 day after the jab. I would say better to up the jab slightly rather then increase frequency i.e. do 3.75 between 2.5 and 5. In fact I would say do that next rather then up to 5 as that's usually the hardest transition for most.

As for eating. Honestly, unless your hungry I just wouldn't eat. I would especially avoid carby and heavy fatty food which will make you feel full, I'm not surprised an egg sandwich is what set you off, very filling even when not on mj. Small regular things e.g. apple slices, Cucumber, milk, plenty of water. Hope you feel better soon.

You don't have to increase the dose. If 2.5mg works for you then continue with that.

I think I will

I chose the egg sandwich as the alternatives were sausage rolls and pasties and egg is good protein!

I drop down a sub dose if I find I’m over suppressed. Made that mistake twice - and that was with sub doses, thinking I had to get up to 5 mg. Thought I was taking it slow but now realise it was no where near slow enough! Still haven’t gone up to 5 mg and I’ve just taken my 19th dose.

4.2 mg is perfect for me at the moment - I was on 3.75 mg before that. Sounds like you may need to do sub doses too/stay on 2.5 mg for a while longer.

This. How much did you lose on a month of 2.5mg?
