I have been on munjaro for 9 weeks now and sometimes find it hard to eat or I just don't want anything. I don't have any other side effects apart from occasional constipation.

What shops would I go to find info on the protein shakes, I see people make them up with powder and water and I was thinking for work it be easier to drink one of them instead of lunch or something. I can make at home with yoghurt and fruits but this is for when I'm at work.

You can just buy them pre made from supermarkets or buy powder from either specialist health stores or eh Amazon.

I buy Muscle Moose diet vanilla protein shake mix from B and M. It's £9.99 for a huge pouch and it's really delicious. I have mine with milk, water and ice and pop it in fridge overnight for breakfast.

Myprotein have nice protein shakes (the vimto one is gorgeous) and some good meal replacement shakes (which is what it sounds like you are after?)

Wingingit11 · 16/10/2024 07:44

Another tip - sugar count varies a lot and some of them are basically marketed around high protein and not much else

Thanks so far.. thus is why I wanted to speak to someone re info, didn't want some chappy stuff that's all sugar, don't want stuff that made for bulking up etc.. I need to lose weight and thought protein shakes may help.

Maybe meal replacement shake is what I'm looking for.

I shall have to do some research, but my question here was my starting point, any advice and help is welcomed I'm a novice at this stuff.

My protein and protein works both do protein powder that is a clear whey protein drink with varying flavours. Looks like juice. I find this easy to sip over a period of time and put some ice with it. It’s not high in calories as uses sweetener.

CiderJabs · 16/10/2024 11:44

I second the clear whey from my protein. It is delicious. I have one every day and also add two scoops of collagen powder into it (for more protein and because I'm old 🤣)
I hate flogging codes but I have a £10 off your first order if you fancy it.
I've not tried protein works but have also heard good things about it.

morbidcuriosity · 16/10/2024 12:12

Yes please for the discount. I'm still looking into which to get and where to get, but if I go that way then I would love to use the discount please.. thank you.
