Mounjaro - Lowish Sulphur diet

My burps / farts are awful. Does anyone have any reputable links to a lower Sulphur diet? It seems everything I eat is causing them rn. I’m on my 3rd week of 2.5 but looking to move to 5mg when I get my next pen and I can’t keep smelling like this.

are you eating enough fibre?. It will ease. Hang on in there.

It's really important to protect your gut on Mounjaro.
Are you taking a strong probiotic? I also take a digestive enzyme with every meal which helps loads.

Probiotics do very little, maybe nothing. Better to have dairy with live cultures like kefir, yogurt, some cheeses.

I eat a lot of live yoghurt / mature cheeses / fermented pickles. My diet isn’t bad but the sulphur tends to flair up every time I eat proteins.

I have a pot of green tea with fresh ginger on the go all day. Plus peppermint oil capsules. Seems to have kept things at bay for me.

I beg to differ.

I take Wellgard Vita Flora, and the digestive enzymes are by Mobu, both available on Amazon.

I have severe IBS and these have made a huge difference for me.

I’m very glad they helped and definitely have their place for IBS, some evidence for menopausal women too, but a range of natural prebiotics should be eaten also for the gut.
