Everything's slowed down now and I don't want to go from 2.5mg to 5mg incase I get really sick.
Has anyone done this just to see how the small increase works then gone for 5 mg week after?

You might not get any side effects?
I haven't had any.
Done 4 x 2.5mg
4 x 5mg
4 x 7.5 mg.
I don't eat fried / fatty/ spicey food.
Plus 2.5 is only a loading dose to get your body use to it.
It's not really a suppression.

Edited

It's absolutely given me alot of suppression. There's been days I've eaten nothing but a babybel because I can't face food

Also with my first 2 injections I got really bad headaches and nausea.

I wouldn't want that to happen again but twice as bad

Not on the 4th injection of 2.5mg. I tend to be patient and stick to the 4 weeks at a new dose as the concentration is still building in your body in those 4 weeks. Especially as you have been having unpleasant side effects already.

I did 5 x 2.5mg then now at 10 x 3.75mg.

You could alternatively do 2.5mg on the 4th week, then extract the 5th dose the following week with a syringe to see how much you get out (some get out as much as 0.9ml) and use that as the stepping stone and/or reduce your first doses out your 5mg pen.

Nah. I did the 5 at 2.5, took the bonus dose.. then went straight to 5. Only side effects been constipated twice, once on 2.5 and once on 5. But I think I was to blame, not enough fibre and not enough water..

You will feel sick if you're not eating.
Also you won't loose.. because your body will think it's starving itself and store fat for energy.
I stocked up on Peppermint oil capsules for the wind and bloating.
Ginger tea capsules for the nausea .
But haven't had to use any.
Good old paracetamol for any headaches.

That was just on the first days after injecting

I did my first month on 2.5 and moved up to 5 mg where I injected 3.75 by counting clicks.
3rd pen I had another 5mg pen and did 5 doses of 4 mg. Now on third 5mp pen and doing 4 doses of 5 mg. Think I’ll move up to 7.5 next month but may try and do slightly lower doses and get 5 out of the pen. Will decide nearer the time.

Then stop rushing to increase your dose!

The drug WORKS by suppressing appetite. Taking a higher dose won't magically melt your fat any faster, that isn't what happens and that isn't how it works. Eating in a sensible calorie deficit is what causes weight loss and Mounjaro HELPS you keep to that calorie deficit.

However there is a huge danger to be tempted to starve yourself. Eating just a babybel and thinking that you want to take a stronger dose is major, major red flag Eating Disorder territory.

A slow, steady weight loss is what you should be aiming for, so that you do not damage your body and most importantly so that in a few months when you reach target and stop taking the drug your poor starved body will not be screaming at you to eat everything in sight and you pile it all straight back on.

You need to calculate your TDEE (plenty of calculators online) and aim to eat approx 500 less calories than that.

Ask yourself:

Am I losing at least 1 pound per week?
Am I still getting full quickly?
Am I staying full over a longer period of time?
Am I able to control cravings? Not hunger, hunger is not the enemy, cravings are and controlling them is the most important.

Take the time to learn to listen to your body and learn how to eat properly.

I said that was only the first days when I first ever started it.
I'm eating normally 6 days a week and suppression is wearing off after 3 days! It's just the first day it's serious

I find my suppression wanes around day 3-4 but that's because it was strong the first few days and I struggled to get to my calorie deficit. Ate more around days 4-5 and it kicked back in for days 6-7. Over the week I am still in calorie deficit.
