Hi does anyone know if any of the companies check your photo / approve your application BEFORE taking your money? I've applied with MedExpress they took my money then said the photo I've sent doesn't meet requirements. I believe it does and I'm not sure what the issue was but the application was not successful and has been cancelled, I now have to wait 2-5 days to get my money back and I want to try another provider but now need to wait for my refund :( TIA

Numan don't ask for a photo at all. They're really great with an app to keep track of weight loss and coaching too. (I can give you a code for £100 off if you DM me.)

Also they didn't take my money until I was approved.

I had my money taken before approval. I had to send a second set of photos and they were approved in the end

Cloud Pharmacy don’t require a photo - it’s an option you can decline and are reasonable at. £138

Med express did the same with me. They did refund though. I used curate. They did ask for photos but they approved me

With photos I think they do need to be 'unflattering'. So many of us who hold extra weight are used to sucking in the stomach and dressing in a way to appear slimmer and don't realise we are doing it. When you are doing the photos you have to be in something skin tight, relax everything and perhaps take a side view. I hold my extra weight at the front of my stomach but have quite slim hips. A front on picture doesn’t show my excess weight as well as a side view does.

Sorry, I realise my post didn't answer your question! But there must be a reason they refused your pictures and I'm assuming it's because you didn't look like your appearance matched your weight but I might be wrong!
