Mounjaro - new pen advice

Hello.
I'm on my new 5mg pen - meant to be starting tonight. On the 2.5mg pen, there were instructions stating to initially wind the pen to 1, press the injection button as a dry run and then re-wind it to 1 before actually injecting into the skin.

This pen doesn't have these instructions though? And I've put the first needle in and there's a tiny bead of the drug appearing at the nib straight away.

Do I still have to do the 'practice' jab beforehand??

You don't wind it to the 1 position to prime the pen, you turn it it just two clicks to the first of the longer line marks. So it's only wound out a small amount, then you press in to prime so the pen winds back in to the 0 position.

It's not unusual for a small drop to appear at the tip of the needle after attaching it. You should still do the priming though.

Also, the instructions should be the same regardless of the dose of the pen.
