Sticking to the regular 2lb a week. School holidays coming up so more eating out than usual but small portions and good menu choices should help me to have at least small losses over the next couple of weeks. (Hopefully!)
Sticking at 3.75 dose again this week as it's still working. Thought I would have gone up to 5 by now but I'm not going up until I need to.

Whilst I’m really pleased that I’m now under 200lbs and I’m still not really tempted by snacking or overly affected by side effects, recording my weight on a Saturday morning means that I’m usually going to have a higher weight from our Friday night takeaway/meal out carbs but it all evens out early next week. Daily weighing helps me recognise that this is normal and not to be disheartened.

For me, being on Mounjaro doesn’t feel like a diet to lose weight; it does feel like a diet to improve eating habits as I spend much more time focusing on protein, fibre and water rather than thinking about calories (but I’d still love to see greater losses 😀).

Still not at a stone lost on MJ but I'm pleased with where I am overall. This week looks like a good result but, because I weigh daily, I know that it's because I didn't have any wine or peanuts last night (but I did have a Chinese) - and last week's smaller loss was because I'd eaten out on the Thursday and Friday with very salty food. I'm not experiencing many side effects on 2.5mg and losing at around 1.5lbs a week so I'm sticking at this level.

NSV: ordered a pair of size 16 jeans and they fit nicely - no muffin top. They (hopefully) won't need to be worn for too long before I'm in a smaller size but I needed something that isn't falling down off my backside. Tops and dresses you can get away with in larger sizes.

Easter was too much for me! Too much chocolate and meals out. Also away for a couple of days so struggled with IF.
So, I've upped my dose to 5mg. This is a new week and I've got that 13st3lb goal in my sights.

This is where Friday night wine, peanuts, and Chinese takeaway appears to scupper my weight loss. I was below 14st on Friday morning, and again on Sunday so I couldn’t claim the joy of breaking a stone barrier, and a stone lost on MJ, and we’re away for a week from tomorrow so I won’t be weighing this week (and might be trying to recover losses after that).

So, I’m just going to tell you now that my weight this morning was 13st 13lbs so I’ve lost 1st 1lb on MJ to date. I’ve also received a size 14 in my favourite jeans and can do them up (with a bit of a muffin top admittedly but even so - I didn’t think I’d get here so quickly).

If someone advertised a miracle diet that could shed over 30lbs in 12 weeks I wouldn't believe it!

I've not felt like I'm "dieting", just making healthier choices, which is sooooo much easier without the cravings and food noise. I do feel hungry but I find it so much easier to make the right choices and to turn down the extra snacks etc.

With the odd glass of wine and even a burger on occasion, I'm finding it so much easier to find the balance whilst taking WLIs.

I've stretched my jab out by a day this week due to schedule but even on a busy day 8, when I had to grab a supermarket lunch, I found it so easy to grab a light salad instead of the sandwich, crisps & sugary drink (and probably an extra pastry if I'm being honest with myself) I usually would have gone for...

@AshabethYou’ve done amazingly well, and I completely agree about using MJ not feeling like a diet. I am eating exactly the same meals as I was previously but I’m not eating biscuits/chocolate/late night cereal etc that I used to and the weight is coming off at the same or higher rate than when I’ve dieted in the past but without the angst of calorie counting or hunger pangs because I’m thinking about the next meal constantly. Every week I’ve had a Chinese takeaway and most weeks have been out for a meal at least once too, and I’ve still lost weight.

I know that with my activity levels I can eat around 2000 calories a day and not put on weight. My weight gain over the years has been very stepped (eg 5lbs over Christmas one year, 2lbs over a holiday the next, 4lbs when working away for an extended period etc). I also put on a lot of weight when I met my partner and got into bad snacking habits with him, and also when going through perimenopause. If I can get to a weight I’m happy with and then be more mindful of snacking, I think I’ll have a good shot at keeping the weight off 🤞
