Should I try again or wait a week?

I definitely didn’t get the full dose 😞

Can you explain what you did and post a pic of what your pen looks like now so we can see if you've had any of the dose.

The needle went into my leg (blood) but I don’t think any of the liquid came out.

Typical me doing it in a rush!

I pressed the pen in the air and some liquid came out and I’ve still half a pen left (should have been second dose)

So this was your third injection?

When you put it in your thigh, did you press down until the pen was completely in and the 0 was visible in the window? Why do you think that you didn't inject anything?

When you say you "pressed the pen in the air" do you mean when you were trying to inject it or before/after??

What makes you think no liquid came out?
If the plunger moved down the liquid would have been injected.

I’ve only done one proper dose.

second was tonight and needle went in as a little blood but I guess I didn’t totally get it so pressed needle again and that’s the third dose (wasted)

Annoying but assume no real harm if I haven’t done it properly as in taken enough and am starting from zero.

Did you wind the pen out twice then? Once to inject and once again that you just squirted out into the air?

Yes I’m so stupid I know, I thought the pen was supposed to be empty each time 😬
it’s just dawned on me that the pen holds the entire dose for a month and not the little needle attachment 🙈🙈🙈

So you squirted a whole dose in the air? That's a lot of liquid and it's a long push of the plunger in if wound out to 1.
That pen has done 3 doses so if you didn't squirt a lot into the air I'd be concerned you've double dosed today.

So, I would definitely wait until next week before doing another dose.

When you do the injection, just take it slowly and watch what's actually happening with the pen. Check that the needle is in your skin the whole time, and that the pen winds completely in again. Then hold the needle into your skin for a count of 5 before taking it out. If it winds in fully and the number 0 is then visible again in the dose window, then you've injected the whole dose.

The issue is I didn’t really want to see the needle going into my thigh!

But from your description I think you have injected the second dose ok, and then just wasted the third dose by squirted it all out.

I think you're going to have to watch what happens when you inject so that you are aware of what's happening and how the pen works, tbh. But, I guess it's up to you.

Well unless you've squirted two whole doses in the air you've had a dose this week (if not two) so I don't know why you think you won't have any weight loss this week.
Read the instructions through again before you do your next dose so you understand how it works better next time.
