At what BMI do you stop taking Mounjaro?

Hello.
I started mounjaro 7 weeks ago at a BMI of 30. I moved up to the 5mg dose with my second pen. I’ve only got one more week left of this pen but I’m going to stick to 5mg for the third pen too.

Anyway, since starting I’ve lost just over 2 stone and my BMI is now 26.3.

I can’t find online anywhere that states at what point I need to stop taking mounjaro. I know I was at the very bottom of the recommended starting BMI. My target BMI is probably 24 so I’ve still some way to go to get to that.

Will I still be able to buy it as an existing customer when I’m at a the top end of a healthy weight?

Each pharmacy has its own rules on when they will stop prescribing it to you.

You need to speak to Simple Pharmacy for their prescribing guidelines and if they provide any maintenance options. Each pharmacy has it own approach.
