How to get 2.5mg from 5mg pen?

After a nightmare with side effects on the 5mg pen I'm going back down to 2.5... I'd only had 2 of the 5mg doses out of my pen. How do I do 2.5 ... sorry if I'm being thick but don't wanna mess it up.

Check how many clicks in a dose. At 7.5mg it's 60 clicks. Not sure if it's the same number of clicks for 5mg. Reddit has all the info! Then count the clicks. You'll need spare needles from Amazon or the chemist if you're splitting the dose.

When you turn the pen to the 1 position, that's a total of 60 clicks of the pen. 2.5mg is a half of 5mg, so you need to turn it for only half the clicks. So as you turn the pen you count each click up to 30 and then stop there. Rather than wind it out all the way to the 1 position. Then you inject as normal, the quantity of liquid will be half of the normal dose and so give you 2.5mg instead of 5mg.

Regardless of pen strength, a full dose is always 60 clicks.
in your case, 30 clicks is 2.5 mg.
