I've shared my progress a few times now, mainly about how I'm getting on

Today I hit my target weight! It was an initial target but it was one that sees me having gone from obese ---> normal weight for the first time in a decade

SW - just shy of 15 stone BMI 36
CW - 10 stone 5 BMI 24.9

I've tweaked this to 9 stone 13 so will see how the next 6lbs go

I've been on MJ since April so it's taken me 5 months to lose 64 lbs

OMG! I'm a normal weight for the first time in a decade!

@BatFacedGirlll That's incredible, well done! I bet you feel fantastic.

BatFacedGirlll · 11/09/2024 11:28

@LucyBnotG thanks! I definitely feel better and fitter (err not today. I slept terribly Grin) But yes, it's reversed a lot of my perimenopause symptoms

Fantastic! Well done you!

JusWunderin · 11/09/2024 11:45

What is MJ, what is your best tips?! I need these results you look fantastic! Well done you!

DirtyDensDog · 11/09/2024 11:52

Well done, what a difference. You must be really proud.

Spomb · 11/09/2024 11:52

That’s amazing! Did you find it slow at first? I’ve been taking Wegovy for 6w now and have barely lost 2kg which I’m finding disheartening.

Carelesswispalover · 11/09/2024 11:53

Amazing, I have gone from 15 stone 10 to 12 stone 10 since May.
It's been a rough ride with mounjaro, I want to get down to 12 as I will then be classed as normal weight (I'm 5ft10) but the 7.5 is making me feel like shit on a shoe.

But, I suppose it's worth it in the end, hoping I can maintain 12 stone when I eventually get there.

User6874356 · 11/09/2024 11:54

That’s brilliant! Well done

PiggieWig · 11/09/2024 11:54

Amazing!! I’m considering MJ. Do you mind me asking how did you find the lifestyle shift and do you think you can maintain it or will you need to continue with the jabs?

mikado1 · 11/09/2024 11:54

Huge well done 👏 You must feel fantastic.

Separately, I love the shade of red in your first outfit! 😃

I’ve lost weight slowly on wegovy
very very little was happening and it feels like very little is happening now.

I started just under 100kg and am now 80kg 🥳 it’s been 6m and it’s been slow and steady

check your diet (focus on veg then protein then everything else)& up your water

@BatFacedGirlll incredible results you must feel amazing 😻

Spomb · 11/09/2024 12:16

@TemuSpecialBuy

Well that’s encouraging! Well done! I’m looking to lose around 30kgs so if I lost 20kg in 6m I think I’d be very happy!

Water I’m fine with, I’ve always drunk loads. My diet used to be really good, but since I’ve started the injections I’ve really craved crap, like a physical craving! I’ve been snacking on crisps, just wanting carbs and fat and salt. I’ve even taken to raiding my husband’s chocolate stash when I have never had a sweet tooth before. Hopefully the appetite suppressant will kick in soon, I’m due my 3rd dose of 0.5 this weekend, so hopefully that will help.

SwiftiesVSLestat · 11/09/2024 12:17

Well done. I am only in jab 2. It’s really encouraging to see such success!

OvaHere · 11/09/2024 14:30

That's brilliant. I started yesterday. I am a very similar weight and shape to you in your before pictures. Really hoping I can achieve similar results as I've also been overweight for nearly a decade now.

Carry61 · 11/09/2024 14:34

Well done!

meteow · 11/09/2024 14:41

You look great op, and should feel it too!!
I have only just started on my journey, I would like to lose 2.5/3 stone so I have a way to go but seeing posts like this really gives me hope !

I was 9.5 stone 3 years ago and am determined to get back there !

Zippitydoodaa · 12/09/2024 12:57

An inspiration!
I'm down from 15st to 12-10 , hoping to get to 12 .I think that would be enough for my age - 66yrs .

BatFacedGirlll · 12/09/2024 13:43

@Zippitydoodaa well done! You're doing brilliantly. But don't let age stop you from going for the healthiest weight you can be. I initially said I'd be happy at 11 stone but I now realise I was saying this because I didn't think I could achieve 9 and a half stone.

But I now know I can - so don't get off the train a stop too early!

PS ignore all the above if you want to 😀
