Mounjaro pricing - chemist4u ripping me off?

I started mounjaro 2ish months ago at £139 for the 2.5mg pen. The price for the 5mg jumped to £189 a few weeks later, so I paid that. However, went to buy my next pen today and the 5mg is now on their website for £139. I queried it with them and was basically told tough. Has anyone else noticed wierd price fluctuations? Now I need a 7.5 pen, that of course is more again so Im feeling a bit peeved.

I’d definitely shop around if possible! As long as you have a previous prescription I’d say most should be OK with taking on as a new patient.

Some won’t though so always check beforehand, I didn’t think ZAVA would take me on with a new BMI of 28 but they did!

It is annoying for sure. I think there is so much competition that it is best to shop around.

My DH uses it and his has gone up to £300 a month so he’s paused it, it’s an obscene amount of money.

There are codes about to get it for cheaper. Zava offer 15% off with referral codes. There is a board with Zava codes you can check out. Promotions board I think.

But definitely move about if they are getting expensive. £300 is obscene!

There’s been a lot of similar messages about this. I have only just started my MJ journey but think I’ll likely shop around for the best price. There’s a chart on Reddit that shows the best price per dosage across uk stockists.

I think med express came out the cheapest for 2.5, 5 and 7.5 dosages (with a new user sign up code.)

My plan was to use Med Express with the new user code for 2.5 the switch providers for 5. Zava (sp?) are around £10 more expensive with their discount. Then I was planning to switch back to Med Express to be eligible for their new user code again, as they offer 7.5 for a significant chunk less than the others! I’ll see if I can find the link to the chart for you.
