Can I take two shots of 2.5 to make 5?

I’m in week 5 of monjuaro. I panicked last min and decided not to go up to 5 as I had had good results on 2.5 and minimal side effects. I’m due a holiday next week so didn’t want to spend it in bed.
however I’m soooo hungry again and the food noise is back with a bang and I think I’ve got used to it.
can I take a double dose of 2.5 and will it be exactly the same as if I had got a 5?
or perhaps 3.75 as half way house.

No one really knows as this method hasn't been tested, but it's hard to think why it would be an issue! When did you last inject? Another option is to inject a little early, this is supported by the manufacturer.

Yes you can. Just count the clicks. Here is the chart. I’m doing great on the 2.5 but ordering the 5 just in case and may go to 3.75 for a bit first. On the 5mg pen 45 clicks is 3.75. If you wanted to do a 3.75 dose on the 2.5 pen it would be a full 60 click dose then another 30 click dose. Some people also use the extra in the pen used for priming as another dose.

Oh great thank you. I will maybe do 3.75 next week. I did my week 5 shot of 2.5 last Wednesday but it had barely any effect so I did another 2.5 on Monday. I will maybe wait until next Monday and do 3.75 and see how that goes. Wish I’d just got the 5 and could’ve taken half doses instead - much more cost effective!
