Has anyone stopped the jabs and put weight back on?

There are some people that are in maintenance and have come off wegovy. Think they have a thread in the weight loss board. Not many have got to that point where they have stopped Mounjaro to give any experience of chances of gaining again. There are a few approaching goal form the main Mounjaro thread, but no one off the meds yet.

I started on them and took for 5/6 months in 2023 then stopped and lost more weight, not used them for 9/10 months now and not regained. I was never on a long term high dose so not sure it counts. Didn’t like the side effects. It did help me get going with weight loss. I’m on the thread in weight loss. Some people have stopped recently after tapering down. The few of us who chat about it made big permanent lifestyle changes so will be interesting to see where we all are in a years time. I can’t see myself going back to how I used to be. In all brutal honesty I ate too much and lied to myself a lot. It’s not willpower or self control I just don’t want to gain weight again or be unhealthy more than I want to over eat. I’m just motivated to keep going. Yeah I get hungry. Yeah I could eat more. But there is a consequence so I try a lot of other techniques to distract myself and I like my health the way it is an awful lot. Ask me when I have been through proper menopause I might have a different answer!
