Anyone here doing WW alongside Mounjaro and fancies chatting on here rather than getting lost in and amongst the other Mounjaro threads?

I had my first injection on Sunday 30th June (2.5mg) and had started on WW a couple of days before, weighed in on Sunday 7th July when I had my 2nd jab, and I'd lost 8lbs. I was really pleased with that but I always have really good losses the first week of WW, but I'm a bit disappointed that I'm not having any appetite suppression or feelings of being full. I'm still wanting to eat, still having to really resist snacking, it's purely willpower at the moment that's keeping me on track...seriously hope the Mounjaro kicks in soon as I'm not sure how long the willpower will last!

I am not doing WW but had my first injection of Mounjaro today. How are you getting on now you are a month in???

I do both of them, I don’t tell anyone in the group or the leader about my jabs though as they have been very negative about weight loss jabs before when it’s come up in group discussions.

I'm doing OK, started calorie counting instead. Lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks (8, 4, 2, 1) but I have to say I'm disappointed with the last couple of losses. I'm under cals most days as I don't feel like eating, but I'm going to be under as the jab makes you not want to eat. Am I supposed to force myself to eat when I don't want to?

I weighed myself this morning (weigh day is officially Sunday) and I'm showing a 2lb gain, no idea why but it's very disheartening...especially spending all that money for so little reward. I know 15lbs is great in a month but I honestly thought I'd have bigger weekly losses

Not surprised a company like WW is negative, in their eyes it is a competitor and likely to lose them business.

I haven't done WW for 20 odd years, back then it was just about counting calories and buying their meals/snack bars. The weekly weigh in kept me accountable to someone, but I can do that on these threads now and can see my progress in a free app.

Has it changed much?

I was thinking about trying somewhere like Curves when I've lost enough to exercise in a group (I'm a few stone away from that)

It has changed abit yes, WW now prescribe weight loss injections in the US i believe. One of the main shareholders of WW is on the weight loss injections (i cant remember her name) and you can switch to a weight loss injection plan on the app.

they no longer do the snacks and meals (apart from some very selected stuff in places like poundland) but their online shop and workshop shop have no closed.

Their magazine has also now gone.

they have gone alittle bit like slimming world were certain things are zero points like fruit and veg, fish etc.

I do it online with their GLP programme. It was cheap because I get my meds from
Boots.

I think you need to unpack why you're expecting bigger weekly losses - MJ or similar don't make you lose weight faster, they make it easier to lose weight by restricting your appetite.

I say as someone who has lost 4 stone on them in 8 months - go the distance not the sprint!

I'm following their GLP programme online too. Only just started but found it good to focus on closing the circles rather than just focusing on points. How are you getting on?
