Mounjaro and type 1diabetes

Has anyone been prescribed this privately/off licence as a type 1 diabetic?
Fully aware of the clinical data, type 2 licence it has. Just intrigued of experiences if anyone can share?

I read some concerns that it can cause retinopathy to progress. One article claimed that the loss of appetite could result in a sudden improvement in Hba1c which is known to worsen eye problems. My Hba1c is ok( not brilliant) and I already have significant retinopathy so I won’t be risking it. I will keep working on the Hba1c and if I can get that low enough that the drugs are unlikely to have a significant impact I might think about it, but for now I’m too nervous about the eye concerns.
