Flying and Mounjaro

I'm wanting to start Mounjaro but booked on a two week holiday in July. Flying with Emirates to Bangkok via Dubai. Will I be allowed to take the pen in my hand luggage and if so do I need a prescription certificate. I don't want to fly with it if it will be confiscated at the airport. Or would I be best starting after my holiday? I am keen to start as soon as possible but cant have a large gap of a few weeks of not taking it

I'm starting 5mg on Thursday this week. But, I'm going on holiday Monday after for 2 weeks. I don't want my partner to know I'm on it. Willl it be ok to miss 2 weeks?

Fine to miss 2 weeks. 5 is quite a high dose to start on though?

Where are you getting it prescribed? That isn't a starting dose so you are highly likely to feel awful and experience unpleasant side effects.

Please check the official advice and query this with your provider.

You shouldn't miss two weeks, again check the manufacturers guidelines as I might be wrong but I think missing a week is OK, more than that you have to start again as if you are a new patient again. It isn't a medication that is designed to stop and start so for a two week break would either start afterwards or take it with you. If it is from an official pharmacy in proper packaging it should be fine.

No it should go in hand luggage the same as insulin to avoid freezing.
