What to wear to DS wedding.

Just that really. Mid 50s, 5'6, overweight. DS wedding. Bridal colours - teal. Don't want to clash. Don't want to be "centre of attention" but tend to dress "young" rather than "dowdy". Most people think I'm early 40s. Intend to lose weight (need to for other reasons). Spring wedding. Happy in maxi dresses, short dresses and jumpsuits. NOT skirts. Mid height heels are fine.
Ideas please.

Is it dark green or midnight?

Beauitiful on the arms. Is it navy? It looks black. Summer wedding would need a light or contrasting bag & shoes- gold/silver or something fabulous like bright coral or bright green.

On closer inspection it could be dark green. Gold would look gorgeous. I really like the necklace they've styled in with, but I like chunky jewellery.

Something didn't look right with their page. The images are AI generated. Just checked the Trust Pilot reviews. It's a scam site so please don't buy. The dress will be poor quality and if you try and send it back it will be somewhere abroad and you will have to pay postage.

OP, as other posters have said, the picture is from a scam site.

There are more and more of them. They give an illusion of being the website for an actual shop, but they are actually linked to factories in China. The items people receive are awful, cheap copies.

The names are concocted to suggest select boutiques in large cities, often two female names together followed by, say, 'London'. There is always a special 'sale', so that would-be buyers think that they have spotted a bargain.

Yup, I saw a boutique called female name York advertised on here. Their stuff was lovely. Ordered before I checked - v convincing & I was stupid not to check (I was busy too). My bank refunded me thankfully.

If you are happy to pay a bit, I’d look in bridal shops at mother or the bride/groom dresses. My mum found some gorgeous ones.

Each to their own, but I think they are horribly old fashioned.

My mums wasn’t at all. Maybe it depends where you go.

What are your measurements? That helps with sizing and also gives a clue as to what kind of figure you have.
