Bridesmaid dress advice

Hi all,

Currently shopping for a dress for my bridesmaid & I'm really struggling to find anything in the mid point price wise- lots of online places like stacees that seem pretty cheap & I have no idea of quality, and on the other end boutiques that seem very pricey.

Any suggestions for a full length, elegant bridesmaid dress for around the £150-£250 mark. Happy to go a bit higher for the right dress, but all the ones I'm finding are higher & have lots of extra alteration costs.

Thanks

Okay my bridesmaid prefers a full length satin dress but with a waistband/something to break up the length. Fitted top but flowing bottom half, ideally straps or very small sleeves & some kind of detail on the back, pretty criss cross straps/cut out/lace etc....

This is harder than I thought!

Thanks @wigglywoowho, I love those, I suspect she would worry they are too fitted over the bum area and she hates her legs, so won't want anything with a split.

Sorry to be so picky, it's just she is absolutely lovely but totally lacking in confidence atm, so I'm trying to help her by finding some she will feel confident in. I don't mind what that ends up being, I'm not a bridzilla (at least I hope not), I gave her some colour options but the rest is up to her, but she is too indecisive & wants me to help her find a short list.

If she's self conscious satin isn't the best option. It's very unforgiving.

Yes, bizarrely she likes herself in Satin more, when we went shopping I thought the chiffon was more flattering, but she liked the Satin. Shows how much of an individual thing it is, I'm leaning towards a pale pink chiffon, but with a straight petty coat underneath, so she doesn't worry about her stomach.

I've been looking at dresses from here for my bridesmaids - I like that they're a bit more interesting than the ones on websites like ever pretty/JJ's house etc

My SIL got her bridesmaids dresses from asos. They were lovely and only about £50 each.

I got really good dresses in the Coast sale - £25 reduced from over £100.

I hate posts that are obviously AI generated...

This is nice. Think it's cool that you can change it's look.

I had these. They were brilliant. Meant my two bridesmaids could wear in their own style. The fabric is very heavy and a bit bouncy so would skim curves well. (V long and needed shortening though)

I got so stressed planning my wedding i delegated this. I set up a WhatsApp group with my three bridesmaid and said my only stipulations were they were floor length, all the same and purple. As I let them choose them, i also needed them to pay for them. They ended up getting multiway dresses from Etsy.
