I am going to a wedding on September 21st , any ideas of what sort of clothing should I wear summer or autumn , boots or sandals ?
I have not used Mumsnet for umpteen years have come back and am totally bamboozled it is all acronyms etc x

By the 21st you’re well into autumn so ankle boots would be appropriate , probably more so than sandals. How about a midi or maxi dress in a lighter fabric (slightly summery) but with an autumn print - maybe rusty or red flowers etc?
there was a thread in here earlier, asking if the dress was okay for an autumn wedding and it got lots of approval!
