How much did you cry at your wedding?

I’m getting married in a week and now the important stuff is all sorted I can relax a bit and it’s sunk in that it’s so soon!

I’m not an overly emotional person in general but I cry without fail at touching moments and seeing others emotional.

I start to cry when I read my vows, and when I think of our wedding song, seeing future husband at the end of the aisle, seeing my stepsons and Newport at the end of the aisle.

I know I will cry during the vows, i hope I can get them out 🤣.

So how much did you cry at your wedding? I know it sounds a bit wet, I’m an independent strong no nonsense lady usually I assure you 🤣

Not a tear tbf until I lost my Mom/Nan/Great Aunts wedding rings they had been tied to a horseshoe on my bouquet and we had taken photos at the beach and the photographer had the horseshoe.......... gone. The wedding venue were lovely and the local community were amazing people went out with metal detectors early doors thankfully the lifeguards found them 😊tears of pure relief 😮‍💨

Not on the day - but the day after was so bad I felt like I had lost control!!

every card we opened, the lovely words, the piecing together of snaps of memories of the day before - the built up gain of all the lovely hugs and loves and words - day 2 was totally overwhelming.

we opened a bottle of champagne and laughed and cried and cried and laughed. It was just as good as the main day.

and DS was conceived that night too, so it was massively extra special because we were told it would never happen. I so believe all the positive stuff we were feeling and we were so happy, literally bursting happy, it helped.

Was so nervous I actually giggled! I'm an emotional person but didn't cry at all, then again it was a quiet one abroad. May have been different if we had had a big wedding, probably one of the reasons we didn't lol. Xx
