Table names

Any suggestions for a good theme for table names?

Book titles/authors.

How did you meet? If it was at a concert and your shared love of music, then you could do your favourite bands/albums? Or if you met in a running club then the names of races you ran together? Anything possible along those lines?

We had ships at the battle of Trafalgar lol. It fitted with our venue.

Our colour theme included purple - so we had cartoon characters that were or wore purple. Only one person caught on that it was colour scheme related but it was a talking point apparently on all the tables while guests tried to work out the connections.

I mean, I would just use numbers, but of all the suggestions so far, the chocolates / sweets one does make a lot of sense, as you can use a bowl of sweets / chocs for the centrepiece instead of that being another job and another expense. It also negates any reason to have other "favours".

Favourite sexual positions. It'll be an ice breaker.

Last one I went to was named after gins with a bottle (empty) of the relevant gin on each table. There was a free gin bar in the evening with all the gins on offer.

It was actually a very classy wedding.
