Canapes, which 4 would you choose? ( pic included )

We have been given the canape menu from the wedding venue we are looking at using ( barn wedding ) and just wondered which 4 other people would pick? :)

They all sound lush so can't decide which sorry!

Belly pork, yorkshire puds, "sausage rolls" and the asparagus. Maybe see if the vegan option could be soy and gluten free too?

These all look utterly delicious!

I'd go for the chilli beef, smoked salmon, scallops and falafels.

I'm hungry now!

They all sound great! Good advice above to go for two veggie, one fish and one meat. I think I would pick the hummus, either the Greek salad or the falafel, the salmon and crayfish, and the croquettes.

These are a great selection!
I’d also go:
1 meat- the pork belly I think (although sausages or the yorkshires would be runner up)
1 fish- smoked salmon
2 veggie- falafel and Stilton (I think falafel and hummus is too similar?)

One meat, one fish, one veggie and one vegan should ensure everyone can have something providing one of the above choices is also gluten free. Plus that means plenty of variety for those lucky ones that eat everything!

They look really good.
I would go for mini Yorkshire puds with beef, prawns, salmon +crayfish rolls and Greek salad.

It's a shame the veggie options are so naff, cos usually I'd say go: 1 meat, 1 fish, 2 veggie.

Instead I'd go:
Pork, sausage, prawn, falafel

Sausage mainly cos that's something the fussy eaters and kids will eat. We had a complaint at our wedding that there was no 'normal' food and they were hungry.

4 of us tasted and voted on a score card. The favourites weren’t the ones we would have gone for, and everybody loved the food at our wedding (… it is what people still mention).

The Yorkshire pud one for definite, the sausage one ( a good all round option)
smoked salmon, then the Greek salad skewer one.

I agree they are not the best veggie options but lovely meat ones. I'd probably go for Yorkshire puds and sausages, the fish sausage roll one and the falafel as it sounds more filling than the other veggie ones.

Yorkshire puds and croquettes! Plus at least one veggie option. We had Yorkshire puds at our wedding and they went down a treat!

I am a greedy person who will eat almost anything. It occurs to me that I would be like a pig in clover at a wedding reception where these canapes (all of them) were circulating, washed down with adequate amounts of wine (which I would buy myself if necessary). I wouldn't need anything else except a slice of wedding cake and a cup of coffee, after a decent interval.

I would choose:

• yorkshire puds


• smoked haddock fritters


• falafel


• greek salad on a stick

I'd go for the first 4 meaty options.

They do sound nice.

It would be good if at least one was gluten free and/or dairy free, but naturally so people who don't understand don't think they're being ripped off(!)

These are great options! I’d go for pork belly, Greek salad, asparagus and the scallops. I’d be going for things that don’t need dipping sauces in case they drip on dresses!

I'd choose the Yorkshire pudding bites , the crayfish sausage rolls , the falafel bites and the salad on a skewer .
I'm just thinking of which would be less messy and the ones i would most like to eat .
