Hi im getting married at a venue where we stay fri to mon getting married on the sat were staying in 2 houses on the venue site in one house my family and a few friends in the other house my fiance friends and there wifes .

My fiance friend wife messaged me saying 3 of my fiance mates wifes got a hair dresser coming to our venue to do there hair .im i wrong or over reacting but i think this is taking the biscuit there only guest and they have arrange for there own hairdresser to attend my wedding venue to do there hair this has really up set me and i wouldnt dream of doing it .i just want other peoples thoughts on this

They did arrange to get their own hairdresser. I don't see what your problem is. This hairdresser won't be attending your wedding, they will just be doing your guest's hair. What's the issue?

It's fine - no different to a mobile hairdresser doing their hair at home before going to a wedding - they're not at home so improvising

Is the problem that they are coming to the venue rather than rented house and there's no space at the venue?

If you don't want the hairdresser at the venue then tell them this right now. The hairdresser can see them at the house.

Absolutely don't see what your issue with this is. I presume they are paying for the accommodation so they can do what they want. How does them having their own hairdresser impact you negatively?

I agree with others. Genuinely can't see what the problem is. It'd be different if they wanted your hairdresser to do them. I think its understandable they'd have someone come along

Chill OP! They're just getting their hair done.

Does it get in the way of anything you're doing? If not, don't worry about it. They're just getting a mobile hairdresser.

Sounds like you might be getting a bit stressed by it all. Relax and enjoy it. These guests are just getting into the spirit and making an effort.

Glad the replies have made you have a rethink OP, this really is no big deal at all.

Lots of people get their hair done by a hairdresser if they’re attending a wedding, totally normal & doesn’t affect your day whatsoever except they’ll look lovely on the photos!

I don't think commenting on a woman, who is obviously stressed, whose grammar isn't up to your standards is less than supportive.

Also my cat is trying to walk over my keyboard so mine might not be perfect.

I actually think it is a good idea, if they are sharing the bathroom(s) a hairdresser will take some of the stress out of it for them, and as someone else pointed out they are making an effort to look good for your day.
