Think I've gone off my wedding dress..pic

I was kind of 50/50 when I tried it on I liked it but felt because my hair and makeup wasn't done I wasn't 100% sure. I am planning on trying it all on this weekend which doesn't give me much time to find anything else if I hate it.

I was thinking maybe adding a nice diamanté belt to bling it up a bit?

I will be 23 weeks pregnant also, so I will have a little bump.

I think a diamanté belt would be overkill, honestly. It would make the dress look cheap.

It's a lovely dress, but if you don't think you like it you could look for something else.

BluebellsGreenbells · 09/11/2021 18:34

What’s re your shoes like? Are you having flowers in your hair?

purplecorkheart · 09/11/2021 18:34

I think it is a beautiful dress. Maybe some drop earrings would look great with it depending on what way you wear your hair. Depending on your colouring I would go for a neutral eye and a bold red lip.

Greenmarmalade · 09/11/2021 18:37

How many weeks are you now? (I’d have been fairly big at 23 weeks).

I think it’s beautiful.

beansandtoastforlunch · 09/11/2021 18:39

I'm still deciding on the shoes I don't want to be taller than OH. I like these but may just choose some plain white strappy heels instead.

No flowers in my hair just a hair band.

That's beautiful with a great fall and flow to it. I love the length. Don't add a belt to it, it's perfect as it is. Maybe you could have shoes in a different colour, gold or red or something.

Bettybantz · 09/11/2021 18:42

I think it’s a gorgeous dress and will look lovely with a little bump. I don’t think you need a belt at all. It’s simplicity is what is beautiful about it.
I’d avoid anything too blingy I think because it would take the attention away from the lovely lace sleeves and pleats.

KeyErro · 09/11/2021 18:42

I think it's lovely. Enjoy your wedding. Flowers

NeedsCharging · 09/11/2021 18:43

The dress is gorgeous.
Accessories with shoes and earrings or shoes and hair thing but not all three.

I would go for she's like these

You may be surprised how big you can get past 20 weeks! An actual maternity dress may be better and more comfortable. Also, the pleated skirt may make you look bigger.

Goldentimes · 09/11/2021 18:44

Wow I love that dress. Absolutely love it!
Doesn't need a belt or anything added to it at all x

RosieLemonadeAndSugar · 09/11/2021 18:44

I think the shoes you've already picked are beautiful! What about something diamanté in your hair? A clip / side something with a bit of sparkle but leaving your dress plain. I think with hair and make up and a little bump will look gorgeous!

winterchills · 09/11/2021 18:45

I really like it! But don't add the belt it would completely ruin it

TinaTurtle · 09/11/2021 18:49

Totally agree. It's very pretty and the lace detail makes it look very special, hence no need for a belt. Really classy but delicate.

I think it’s really classy.

Rainallnight · 09/11/2021 18:52

I really love that dress. It’s beautiful and has really pretty details without being fussy.

JLQ1020 · 09/11/2021 18:53

I think its beautiful have u thought about a statement hair band? They are all in right now and would really set it off.
If it helps u went off my dress and then when I put it on again I fell in love all over again

Anybridget7 · 09/11/2021 18:55

Have a look at Asos or Monsoon. Order a few others to try on.
I think you need to be 100% about your wedding dress, not 50/50. Although this is a nice dress, perhaps it isn't 'the one'.

Vbree · 09/11/2021 18:57

It's a beautiful dress. A big pretty necklace and some earrings would look nice with it, maybe a nice hair band.

LivingLaVidaBabyShower · 09/11/2021 18:59

I like it! But try it on with hair and shoes amd if you dont like it take a look at chichi asos and monsoon

Lightswitch123 · 09/11/2021 18:59

I also really like it, particularly if you have a little bump. Also looks comfortable to wear 2nd trimester which is important!

Agree with pp

No belt

Consider statement hairband

OhMyCrump · 09/11/2021 19:00

I think its absolutely beautiful. Perfect as it is, don't add anything.

beansandtoastforlunch · 09/11/2021 19:04

Thanks everyone, I think I definitely need to get glammed up on the weekend and try it all on.
I will avoid the blingy belt!
