I really need some help. Getting married in November. Ceremony happening in a Catholic Church, my OH will be in morning dress. Is this OK for a wedding dress?

That's really pretty.

WeAreTheHeroes · 29/08/2021 18:18

Yes, it's lovely. Congratulations.

seven201 · 29/08/2021 18:18

Is that the maya asos one? Only think I'd say is it's quite popular as a bridesmaid dress in other colours. I wore one in blue as a bridesmaid a couple of years ago. I do think it's a lovely dress though.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 29/08/2021 18:18

Yes!

LubaLuca · 29/08/2021 18:18

Yes, it's very pretty. It is a wedding dress isn't it?

BigGooseyLucy · 29/08/2021 18:25

Very pretty without too much fuss

HarrietSchulenberg · 29/08/2021 18:30

Absolutely yes, it's beautiful.

It's beautiful. Best wishes on your wedding day Flowers

Zinfandelli · 29/08/2021 18:40

Looks lovely. Hope you have a wonderful day, OP.

SukonthaM · 29/08/2021 18:42

It does look like a wedding dress to me

Kite22 · 29/08/2021 18:42

Yes, it looks lovely.

What is it about it you are doubting ?

MushMonster · 29/08/2021 18:43

I like it! I think I would put a belt on it to soften the transition between the top and skirt. You can have a plain one or a blingy one! Though I would go for a shiny one I think.
Congratulations!

OwlBasket · 29/08/2021 18:44

It’s very pretty but you don’t sound like you love it, op. Have you tried it on yet?

HeddaGarbled · 29/08/2021 18:46

Yes, I think it’s lovely.

starryeyed19 · 29/08/2021 19:30

Ha, I should have mentioned that the four bridesmaid will be wearing the same dress but in navy...

I don't know why I am second guessing it. It doesn't feel weddingy enough? I've gone a bit dress blind tbh

You can dress it up with some AMAZING shoes ?

Are you have a veil ? And what's the plan for jewellery make up and hair ?

SpeedRunParent · 29/08/2021 19:33

It's gorgeous, congratulations.

Aquamarine1029 · 29/08/2021 19:35

I'm not loving this idea, personally. I think you should have your own dress. Up to you, though.

starryeyed19 · 29/08/2021 19:42

I have a gorgeous embroidered veil and some equally fabulous shoes from Irregular Choice. So I am set accessories wise

SweetBabyCheeses99 · 29/08/2021 19:42

Has it been delivered yet or is this just the plan? It’s important to be comfortable but TBH I think this is way too casual for a church wedding, especially when your husband to be will be in top and tails. If budget is the issue then there are plenty more suitable high street options, or secondhand. Wed2B is also good for proper bridal gowns “off the rack.”

Stunning !

It's up to you at the end of the day. If you out it all on and feel amazing then that's the one. If you are not sure then move on have a look for something else . Wed2be as another poster has said is apparently great
