Wedding gift for husband - what did you do?

Just looking for inspiration for a gift - maybe something out of the ordinary? What did you get?

My husband bought me a beautiful dressing table.... I bought him a bananaguard

Was a bit of a joke between us and he took it well

We went traditional though we didn’t discuss it in advance. Engraved skeleton pocket watch for him and a pearl bracelet for me.

I made sure there was enough booze in the fridge for when he got ready in the morning.

He got me! Didn't know it was a thing to buy each other presents.

I bought him a painting of the place he proposed to me.

Monopoly used to do bespoke Monopoly boards so I bought him one of those. He bought me a Louis Vuitton purse which I'm still using 15 years later.

I bought him a copy of the book he claimed he’d read when we first met

We bought each other games consoles that had just gone out (2 different types).

A boudoir photo shoot. I think I like looking at it more than him now, reminding myself of my pre-baby body

I got him a key cut for my house!

I got him a Le Creuset pan and wrote a note saying it was like our marriage; it'll last a lifetime, we'd use it every day and have to look after it - written more beautifully than that though! It went down well and it has turned out that way 😊

But, I surprised him about 2 weeks before the wedding mentioning that I'd got his present and he was like 'that's a thing!?' I got a hastily bought book of Love poetry, sweet but now dusty 🙄

I was the gift

I gave him a tie clip. Handmade and engraved... Spent ages designing it, took weeks to come.
He lost it on the dance floor a few hours later 😂

We didnt do gifts but we bought got a new watch for the wedding if that counts?

Personalised number plate for car

He bought me a gift, I didn't get him one (I think I genuinely forgot)... i have never lived it down. Make sure it's something memorable!!

Just informing DH we are owed presents from each other.

We didn’t do anything, but I did buy him a pair of Bristol blue glass cuff links (we were living in Bristol at the time) and that was our “something blue”.

Gifts? My husband paid for most of the wedding and all of the honeymoon, so never expected a gift on top! I didn't give him anything either.

He got me. That was sufficient.

We gave each other nice watches.

Suggested we started in Vegas and got married while there. Then did the Route.
