Hi all
My partner proposed to me on mother's day however the ring he got is far too big. We went back to the jeweller's and they not only don't do that ring in my size they don't do any ring in my size.

I am a UK size E which I think is classed as a children's size.

They said they would enquire with the manufacturer if they could make a special one off one but it has been two weeks and not heard a thing.

Does anyone know of any companies that make rings this size or should I just forgo the tradition of a ring.

We can't afford to spend hundreds or even thousands on a commission

Sounds like you met the most unhelpful jeweler! I found the wedding ring I wanted but it only came in 9ct not 18 (which I needed to match my engagement ring). So they quoted me to make it in 18ct and did it in about 3 weeks, it wasn’t particularly expensive (just over £500). Amazed that the jeweler couldn’t have just made a small one for you.

Birmingham jewellery quarter is definitely worth a visit maybe make a weekend of it and catch a theatre show too.
Congratulations btw. ❤️

Search 'bespoke wedding rings' on facebook. They are making my wedding ring and made my sister's and her husband's. He's got an office in Hatton garden. He can make whatever you want within your budget for it.
