How did you decide your wedding date?

Was there a specific reason

We chose April 29 as it was his birthday as well so double celebration

A date within the following two months when we could get both the church and the reception venue

Ours was our 10 year anniversary.

January 31st so my husband will remember it

We wanted to get married in London in summer 2012 and wanted to avoid the Olympics and Paralympics so only had a choice of 2 Saturdays. Then went with the one the venue was free.

We've gone for a Jan to March deal. So we went for the latest date they had in March hoping that there will be one of those easter heat waves.

Was the ten year anniversary of our first date

Same date we had our first date but 3 years later

It was the only day our venue had in the next year in the holidays they gave us enough time for a 3 week honeymoon. Dh is a teacher.

We wanted to get married on a Saturday in September. All of them were available so we picked the number we liked best out of the options

We chose Easter weekend because the bank holidays made it easier for family members to travel (we live miles from both families and didn’t want to favour one side over the other).

Also, we could give out mini Easter Eggs as favours. They were a big hit.

We're both teachers - it was entirely dictated by school holidays!
