What did you have or what are you having as a first dance song?

We're thinking of having Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney, what do you think? Would that pass as a 1st dance song?

We had I'll Never Find Another You - The Seekers. Heard it one day and just loved it.

Dh wanted 10 ft tall by Pete Murray. It is a lovely song but it was written about a woman who was dying from cancer. So it felt wrong to me.

We were going to have poison by Alice cooper but we've decided to do away with the first dance all together. we are still having an inappropriate music theme to our wedding though I'm letting him choose the walking down the aisle music and I'm betting it's going to be queens fat bottomed girls...

We had Sweet Baby James by James Taylor. It was an easy choice for us - DH always asked me to sing it if I had my guitar out because it was the song I was playing the first time he ever heard me sing.

I would have loved When the Right One Comes Along from Nashville if we hadn't had a 'song' though. The lyrics are beautiful

I want Budapest by George Ezra or I Want To Grow Old With You from the wedding singer.

But I think we're having Shut Up and Dance With Me!

Is 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?' not about a woman worrying that the bloke who's just talked her into bed is only after a one night stand, though?

I'm struggling to choose the first dance too. We both do ceroc and my favourite track to dance to is Michael Jackson's Don't Stop Till You Get Enough but that's not very 'weddingy'. I want something fast so we can actually dance rather than sway from foot to foot.

Totally random find but think it's the one for us...was watching an episode of The Flash with DS and Grant Gustin sang Running Home to You...it's lovely

We had It Had To Be You, performed by Rod Stewart (not live obviously) I don't think it matters what you chose as long as it means something to you. It helps if it's something you can both dance too.

I love Paul McCartney, and that is a lovely song. I am walking g down the aisle to Calico Skies. We are having Ride by Lana Del Rey for first dance because we both love it.
