Am moving house from the south coast to Yorkshire and i really don't want to get
A) stuck here
B) Stuck on A1
c) Stuck here or there with lots of removal men!

Oh dear.

I have really really had enough of being cold and slipping on ice on the way to school. It has gone on Quite Long Enough. And we've got off relatively lightly - the East of England.

Oh arse,we have to drive to Lancashire and back next Saturday,for MIL's 80th birthday party.We didn't get to go over Christmas due to the weather,and we will not be popular if we don't go again.

Ok still looking cold next week but gfs 6z keeps th snow generally on the eastern side. Lets see what the 12z run brings later on.

Thanks for your posts OYBBK. Can you explain what the 12z is? I've wondered about that on the TWO forum too.

The gfs is a computer model that runs 4 times a day with the latest data. The runs are at 00Z (ie midnight, z stands for zulu time another way of saying gmt) , 06Z, 12z and 18z.
people await each run with interest in times like this!

When do you reckon it will start to get really cold?

not had chance to look this evening, dd is on proper pc but I think possibly as early as tuesday (will have a look in am) I think when I looked the start of the week was relatively dry with perhaps light snow showers on tuesday.
