It looks like our gust speeds have been reduced on the forecast slightly. Still mostly 50mph+, with a short period of 60mph+ in the early hours tomorrow, but not as high as they were being forecast. It also looks to be reducing earlier tomorrow afternoon than was initially forecast as well.

We've just put some washing out briefly, to catch the short dry spell. It's down the side return, not the exposed part of the garden, so isn't going to head off inland!

Bit rainy and windy here...I'm at the point of going outside and yelling "give me all you've got, you bastard" due to DH paranoia being worried about the roof blowing off.

They were very well pegged, Puss! They're in now, as it's raining. The duvet cover went first for an hour, then the sheet and pillowcases. There wasn't room for everything at once in the sheltered bit!

I do think the four horsemen might as well come now...the prolonged build-up is unnecessary.
