I'm in my mid 60's & I have never seen lightning like that (in the UK) in my life.

I can imagine. It looks incredible. The storm cluster is still going over the Netherlands and Belgium.

Found myself on rightmove looking at houses in Eastbourne

You want to be a little outside Eastbourne, by about 3 miles, as then you are in Wealden & the council tax is far less & you are slightly uphill & get better views!

I like to be able to use public transport to get to places. So that would be a consideration. At least we don't need to think about schools anymore.

Second one is a lovely house but area is an absolute no. Divided by the busiest level crossing in the UK!!

First one looks good - might even take a detour past it when I go in to Eastbourne next!

When we moved here we didn't have the school problem & it doesn't half open up possibilities!
