3 month heatwave?

My mum told me today that we’re going to have a 3 month heatwave! I’m really worried as I struggled with last year! Anyone heard of heatwave coming and how to survive it

Try by a fan if possible really helps I have a dyson one it’s amazing but my cheap Homebase one works well too

Oh I bloody hope not! 21 is about my happy maximum if not on holiday lounging by pool!

Lord I hope not. I'm due in October with baby number 2 so I'm really going to suffer if we have a heatwave. Is it ok if I spend it sitting like a whale in my toddlers paddling pool?

last summer was awful"!!!! What planet were you on?? It was gorgeous! We spent the summer on the beach or camping, the washing was outside all of the time, the windows were open, everyone was smiling... it was the best summer ever

Yeah, I live in a two bedroom top floor flat with no garden on a busy main road in London. With a toddler who gets terrible, infected eczema in the heat.

I fucking hate hot weather. Why is it that all year round everyone is allowed to complain non stop about cloud, wind, rain etc and yet those of us who don't like heat are called killjoys?!

I fucking hate cold weather. I have a child who is allergic to cold - genuine thing, he breaks out in hives all over his body! We're stuck inside today because of the wind & rain. We'll go out puddle splashing when it's stopped, if it ever stops!

I live on a farm near the seaside, I love it when it's sunny and the kids can run feral.

We get cloud and rain the majority of the year throughout the UK so I think a bit of summer is allowed to be celebrated.

Hailstones form during convective weather. They are far more likely in the summer months as convection is driven primarily by heat.

Oh I hate the real hot humid days too! I dont enjoy them at all. I love cloudy skies and do cheer for the rain!

I didn’t know that. I used to live in Sydney and they get quite violent hail storms. Much bigger hail stones than here.
