I think the system is a tiny bit east of where it was forecast, by around 50 miles or so, however, a miserable day in place, with the potential still for up to 80mm for some, but 30-40mm more widespread in the SE and EA

Well, I can confirm that it is bloody horrible in Newhaven. Really heavy rain, v cold and blustery. But the trains are at least running, for now.

Not as bad as expected here tbh just like any rainy and windy day .
Also not as windy as I thought and rain is not that heavy now
