Absolutely knackered this morning!

Im away from my pc and on very dodgy phone signal so I can't check what's happening but I expect there will be a fair bit of travel disruption this morning up from Berkshire and Surrey up into north London

Desperate for some rain here in Kent. Was forecast a shedload overnight and into this morning....not a spot .

Nothing here in West Sussex although it is very dark.

What on earth is a fruit based phone?

Nothing here yet in East Yorkshire - forecast for later this morning, its just a bit blowy and dark at the moment.

Tis quite dark here...but no rain.....desperately need rain for our poor allottment.........

Same here Luxemberger - re allotment, seem to have hardly any rain at all this year.

bookbook - are you in South East too? we eagerly watch the forecasts hoping for rain but every time it just seems to miss our corner. We can travel 20 miles up the road to Maidstone and they will have had a good soaking and we miss out. The cracks in the earth on our patch you can easily slip your hand into.

East Yorkshire here -on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. This year I keep reading about everyone getting rain, and it never happens. I grow on chalk, so free draining stones here !

Well, I was planning to spend the morning at my allotment but I woukd get very wet and muddy, I certainly won't need to water.

I won't have to water anything at my plot either (clay soil~ Leicester)

Lots of reports of floorings here and a couple of houses were struck by lightening. Is that the end of it or is it due to return ?

Mummylin~ there might be a little more to come in the way of rain/the odd storm. You can see the rain bands forming on raintoday at the moment.
