Warmer weather on it's way

Happy Easter to those that celebrate :)

It looks like we are going to have a lovely week across much of the UK with temps beginning to climb on Monday. By the end of the week, unless things change drastically we could see 20C in one or two favoured spots.

I hope so too. It's been bloody grim here since Christmas. Cold all the time. I think we've had about 2 days when the temperature has gone into double figures, and even then it only reached about 10 degrees. I've done nothing at all in my garden

I never whinge during a bad spell but the relentless grim grey sky is depressing

i think there may be some murk for a couple of days to get through, but hold on to that hope for towards the end of the week.

the high pressure over us is bringing in lots of moisture from the atlantic at the moment.

Its funny how weather varies so much from Easter to Easter (i know obv the date changes) but some years we've camped in snow, in other years ive worried that the eggs at our local Easter egg hunt will melt.

I think it might be a bit of a mixed bag of cooler and warm weather with some rain. But for the lakesin April I reckon it looks pretty good at present :)

Try again. mn keeps breaking my ipad.

so many central areas look gorgeous today. Lots of sunshine and where it stays clear temps may reach mid teens. coastal areas, esp in the west look to be plagued rather by cloud and clag. some may hold on to the fog they have for a good part of the morning.

'Tis lovely here (Leicester). Have spent a couple of hours at the allotment this morning in the company of many butterflies that also seem to be enjoying the sunshine!

It's very nice in the highlands. Yesterday the kids ran around in shorts and I thought I was going to have to get the sun cream out.

It was lovely yesterday morning- sunny and light wind after a ground frost.

However, at 2pm it turned into over cast and chilly strong wind Confused

2degrees last night.
Sunny and light winds again this morning. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit for dog walk.

Start of another beautiful day here but a bit chilly overnight ~ down to 2.7C just before 6am. If I'm reading the charts right, Friday looks really warm (17C for us) but cooling off over the weekend.
Giving the grass its first cut of the year may be a job for today

Yesterday was misty until around 10 am, then turned sunny and warm pm with overcast spell at lunch-time. Only the occasional gusty breeze which was welcomed .
By 5pm much cooler again.

This morning is a grey misty one at 6 degrees atm.
Hoping it clears by 10am again.
