We seem to be having a bit of a weekend heatwave....

my weather station (think it might be overdoing it a bit though) says it's 26.6C at the moment!
The Daily Mail are saying this about the weekend's weather while the Express (always the font of all weather knowledge!) are saying we're in for 3 MONTHS OF SUNSHINE
I believe every word of it!

It's only because I'm working nights this weekend, next weekend when I'm moving house and could do with at least dry weather, prepare for a monsoon of biblical proportions.

I have taken my cardi off. i have sat outside and come in again because I am too hot.

I am off till wednesday, there is not a speck of sunshine here. It is decidedly chilly.

Nevertheless I do have the doors and windows open.

I took my cardigan off today. Felt weird. AND I didn't wear socks - it's a wild and crazy life I lead.

Anyone else taken a peek at their summer wardrobe possibilities?

The shops I called in to today were packed with people buying summer clothes! (including me)

it's going to be horrible again by Tuesday.

Me too Spotty. much rummaging is required usually followed by disappointment. I somehow think that all the summer stuff may have been replaced by the retail fairies over the winter and it will all be fab. Never the case.

My farmers tan is coming along nicely after being out in a t-shirt today. Taken it off and I have a white t-shirt shaped body and red arms. Ooops.

Hope its nice for half term.

I promise I won't be buying any summer dresses this year.

It's lovely here, I was dozing on the grass earlier while the boys did the gardening.

Washing dried in under 2 hours today too. Am making the most of it this weekend

DH has been out today and bought a BBQ and tower fan. This usually means the weather will turn.

It's 26 here. I've got my summer stuff out but it's bloody shrunk over the winter bastard moths.

It can rain for a day or two in the middle of the week, my allotment will need a jolly good drink by then. But I'd like it to be sunny again by Thursday.

I need it gorgeous again by Thursday... Long weekend in Cumbria/Scottish borders.
