my weather station (think it might be overdoing it a bit though) says it's 26.6C at the moment!
The Daily Mail are saying this about the weekend's weather while the Express (always the font of all weather knowledge!) are saying we're in for 3 MONTHS OF SUNSHINE
I believe every word of it!

I've been having a lovely weekend away from the pc! I've created a new thread for the rest of the week as it all goes pants after today.

We had almost no-stop blue sky in Hampshire. It's days like this I really don't mind staying in and mooching around.

I was out there by 9:30am catching the rays and reading the sunday papers.

7yo DS almost hit me with a football several times Hmm and 5yo DD kept wanting help with sellotape for some project she was up to. Apart from that it was really rather relaxing.

Will you all shut up please?
Took my mother on a boat trip on Loch K in Scotland today. So cold out on deck that we had to move out of the rain and into the cabin for hot chocolate to try and warm up!
The scenery up here might be lovely but by god, the weather is shite!

SE.
I got a lots of gardening done but this afternoon until 4pm was a bit too humid for me. House still cool inside.
My early rambling noisette rose looks like a bedecked waterfall and will need loads of pruning back afterwards and the pond below cleaning out of petals and prunings < sigh>.
The arches are beginning to bloom now - lots of dead heading afterwards there too.
Still enjoy the dead heading/pruning but not so much the picking them up.
It was forecast that on Tuesday the weather will break into cooler and more unsettled weather .
We have 17 out atm and 23.5 in but the 23.5 in feels quite cool to meHmm

Ah yes, Woolly, a bit of sunshine and Vicky Park does get a bit crowded!

Spotty ~ it is a bit tiring this heat. I think Mediterranean countries are on to a good thing, with their mid-afternoon siesta things I fell asleep on the bed earlier!

Ha Gloria I thought of you and this thread when I took DD1 back to her student digs this afternoon.

She lives near Victoria Park and it was crammed with people enjoying the Leicester sunshine.

It was lovely! The sun makes me really tired though. Or maybe it's because I'm doing more?

Think we've hit about 26C today (weather station says it was 27C about an hour ago but think it's overdoing it again.) We're down to a more comfortable 22.7C now.

I'm not sure where OYBBK is ~ hope she's OK. She's 'The Boss' of the Weather Department when it comes to forecasting!

Another beautiful day and up to 24.8C but there's a bit more of a breeze today. Netweather are warning already about a thundery breakdown this week (another allotment person here who thinks both allotment and our garden pond could do with a decent amount of rain.)

(Apologies to Western bits of Scotland which is under a weather warning and anyone else having not-so-great weather at the moment.)

It can rain for a day or two in the middle of the week, my allotment will need a jolly good drink by then. But I'd like it to be sunny again by Thursday.

DH has been out today and bought a BBQ and tower fan. This usually means the weather will turn.

It's lovely here, I was dozing on the grass earlier while the boys did the gardening.

Washing dried in under 2 hours today too. Am making the most of it this weekend
