Looking like theres potential for a lovely weekend to come. Perhaps not terribly sunny but GFS is going for temps perhaps as warm as 14-15C in the south and midlands. Dry too. Woohoo!

Big caveat for gardeners though - dont get carried away and put out frost tender plants. Can guarantee you wont get away with it!

Not sure what the temp is here in Kent BUT I sat outside at lunch-time for an hour and I have caught the sun on my arms! [smile smile smile]

Never know what to wear. Dog walk at 3pm yesterday was too warm in the sun with my fleece jacket on in the wide open fields. But was cold indoors even with the heating on at 19.5. Bare arms out or in - noway.

Football matches planned on the playing fields this weekend but the ground is still on the soggy side. Council have had the grass cut already.

Yesterday's 3pm dog walk was still a bit chilly due to the cold wind.
Was too warm doing some tidying up in our sheltered garden an hour before.
Clear sky and sunny already today but only 5 degrees. SE.

Noticed the male post deliverers have their shorts on already.

The frogs in our pond have been busy and we've got 8 clumps of frog spawn laid overnight!

We have had arctic air and hailstones on Sunday and I am back in my winter duvets coats for walking the dog

DD said it snowed yesterday where she was despite it being +6 degrees.
We had 10 degrees when it hailstoned

We had snow yesterday! About 2.30pm, the temperature dropped from 5/6C down to 3C. We had big snowy flakes for a while ~ think it was the most snow we've had all winter!

The met office app has changed and gives hourly weather now

yes :( well cloudier and significantly cooler. SE should cling on to it for the longest. Some heavy rain showers breaking out in the west.
Once the fog cleared it was lovely today.

What about if I mosey on down to Brighton?

Why is it so bloody cold?! My nose is cold I've turned my heating off and am refusing to put it back on

It is cold, it's at that stupid transition point where it gets cold too easily.

It was very warm and humid here on Saturday.
Today is wet and windy and 13 degrees.
Heating comes on in the morning to 19.5 degrees , needing to increase from 18.6, so about 45 minutes then goes off.
1st May I turn it off usually.

It looks really unsettled this model run :( however it wont take much to make it a happier outlook.
