Looking like theres potential for a lovely weekend to come. Perhaps not terribly sunny but GFS is going for temps perhaps as warm as 14-15C in the south and midlands. Dry too. Woohoo!

Big caveat for gardeners though - dont get carried away and put out frost tender plants. Can guarantee you wont get away with it!

2-3 pm dog walk was warm enough to be in just a cotton top for the 1st time since last summer ended.

So warm today everyone was in shorts and T shirts, and I had my Fit Flops on. Seemed to have made the transition from boots to sandals, missing out the shoe element.

All throughout the park, and in the neighbourhood gardens, people got their barbeques out.

What an amazing transformation from a few days ago.

Farming forecast showed a settled week ten degrees cooler than the unusual warmth of today.

I think temps will climb somewhat through the week. But tomorrow will feel pretty cold in comparison. Was such a splendid day!

Little dog had a run around in the fields but in the evening I was cutting out all the mud clumped fur between her paw pads.
Sunny again, 4 degrees atm.

Had a lovely sunny dog walk this morning but sky is now lightly overcast and 11.6 degrees.

The forecast has changed for the worse here .
According to the hourly prediction for today, I have 1 hour between 5-6pm which will be sunny, cloudless but only 10 degrees.
The 1st website said it would be sunny all day and max 14. Overcast atm and 7 degrees.
We'll see

The weekend was all a big tease wasn't it? Yesterday morning it was still lovely, but by midday cloudy, windier and much colder. And looks the same today. Hey ho. (Marlborough Downs, Wilts)

It was :( though there might be clearer skies tomorrow and thursday it doesnt look nearly as warm. I was going to get into the garden for an hour this afternoon but my book called much stronger than the grey cold.

Been another lovely sunny day in Manchester, a bit cooler than yesterday but still got all the bedding out on the line

Yesterday the sun came out and we had a blue clear sky at 4pm, so took little dog out again and it was lovely. It had been quite raw cold all day.
This morning is still clear blue and sunny .

After the last few bright, sunny mornings, 'tis dull, cloudy and a chilly 4.4C here (Leicester) atm.

Misted over and felt raw cold at 9am. By 10.30 it was sunny. Took dog for walk at 11am and despite being sunny it felt very cold.
At 2.45 it had warmed up and was lovely.
Noticed that the cold wind is coming from the north despite our forecast being for SW wind. . 15 degrees max. SE.

If I promise to keep wellies to hand can I put the snow boots away? My shoe corner is far less cluttered when it's flip flops only.

Misty with the sunshine trying to battle through. 3.6 but with 86% humidity /damp. Sun given up for now

Well it wasn't foggy here but it is now!

Fog here as well and a chilly 2.7C.

Sunny and mild from 9am today .

Fog went pretty quickly here and we now have lovely warm sunshine and it's 12.3C
